My name is Maria Wilde and I’m happy to introduce myself as the 3rd-5th Westside Elementary school counselor. I have worked for AISD for 17 years. I started my teaching career in 2002 as a bilingual elementary teacher at Southside Elementary. I decided to further my education and enrolled in the University of Houston Clear Lake to get my Master’s in Counseling. I have been a counselor for 5 years and enjoy being able to help our students, parents and teachers.

I’m a mother of two daughters Coryna and Dayna who graduated from Angleton High School. I also have two grandchildren Avani and Ari Williams. My husband Tom Wilde works for Most Holy Trinity here in Angleton. I also have two sweet Pugs and a miniature Pig as pets.

My free time is spent volunteering as a catechist in youth religion formation. I also spend time at the gym where I strength train and cycle. I enjoy reading about health and nutrition.
