Trisha Terell
Principal & Campus Behavior Coordinator
Trisha Terrell grew up in Alice, Texas and graduated from Alice High School. She continued her education at the University of Texas at Austin and received her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A & M University Kingsville and her Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Ms. Terrell began her teaching career as an ELA 7th and 8th-grade educator. She was also the Alice High School Varsity Swim Coach and the junior high cheer coach. Her administrative career has included Assistant Principal of Instruction and Curriculum for Wm. Adams Jr. High, Alice High School 9th grade administrator and then Dean of Instruction, Principal at Dubose Intermediate school, Principal of Sivells Elementary School, Assistant Principal at Angleton High School where her main duties were administrator over instruction and curriculum and now she is the principal at AJH.
Ms. Terrell’s educational awards include Jim Wells County Conservation Teacher of the Year, District and Region Swim Coach of the Year, Wm. Adams Promoting the Vision Award, Wm. Adams Teacher of the Year, Alice ISD Teacher of the Year and Alice Alumni Award.
Ms. Terrell moved to Missouri City in 2015 to be closer to her family. She has one daughter, Taylor and a granddaughter, Riley. In her spare time, she likes to enjoy attending all kinds of community events and experiences with her family and friends, travel, read, shop and spend as much time in the water as possible.
