Welcome to Frontier Elementary! As the 2024-2025 school year begins, I am starting my sixth year as the principal at Frontier. I am an Angleton High School graduate and am proud to bleed purple! After graduating from AHS, I earned my teaching degree at Sam Houston State University and then came back to Angleton to teach. After moving around a few times with my family as a kid, Angleton became home, and there was no place other than Angleton that I could see myself beginning my career. I spent a year teaching seventh grade math and pre-algebra at Angleton Intermediate school before joining the Frontier family where I stayed for ten years teaching fourth grade math, science and social studies. I later earned my leadership degree from Lamar University and began my assistant principal adventures at Angleton High School where I spent three years. It felt like coming home when I was selected as Frontier’s assistant principal, which I served for three years. Frontier is a unique place as the teachers and staff truly place student needs ahead of everything, through hard work and dedication. Ultimately, there is no other profession that I could see myself in, and from a very young age I knew I would work in the education field. Teaching the whole child has always been important to me and being able to do so in Angleton brings me no greater pride. I am a Wildcat through and through! My family is rooted in Angleton and I enjoy spending time with them. During baseball season though, you can occasionally find me at Minute Maid Park!
