    Online registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open.


    Angleton ISD offers free Pre-K to those who qualify.
    The district will notify parents of eligibility for free Pre-K within a week of receiving finalized applications. 

    Enrollment Requirements:

    • Live within the Angleton ISD district
    • Be (4) years of age on or before September 1st
    • Students must meet at least one of the below eligibility requirements to qualify for the Pre-kindergarten program:
      • Limited English proficient OR
      • Qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunch Program based on total family income as set forth by Federal Guidelines OR
      • Is classified as homeless OR
      • Is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States (DOD photo identification is required) or is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States who as injured or killed while serving on active duty OR
      • Is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as: a peace officer under Section 3106.002, Government Code; a firefighter under Section 3106.003, Government Code; or an emergency medical first responder under Section 3106.004, Government Code OR
      • Currently is or has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing under Family Code § 262.01.


    Don't qualify for free Pre-K?

    AISD also offers a limited number of tuition-based spots for families who do not meet the state eligibility requirements. These openings are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
    Tuition cost is $5,750 for the 2024-2025 school year.

    Required Documents for Enrollment

    • Child’s Social Security Card (if applicable)
    • State certified birth certificate
    • Current immunization record
    • Photo ID of parent/guardian enrolling the student
    • Proof of residency. Acceptable documents include:
      • Electric bill
      • Water bill
      • Rental or lease agreements
    • Proof of income for each person who lives in the household (see Income Guidelines below) OR
      • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) certification document
      • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) certification document

    We highly encourage families to register students online through the portal linked above.

    In-person Enrollment Assistance

    Families requiring enrollment assistance for Pre-K only, can visit the Administration Building, located at 1900 N. Downing, on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning May 2nd, from 8:30 am -11:30 am and 1 pm - 3:30 pm.
